چکیده
The effect of the Goos-Hanchen (GH) angular shift for a visible light beam under excitation surface plasmon resonance (SPR) in metal subwavelength grating has been investigated. Extremely large GH shifts have demonstrated with an optimal depth. high sensitivity shape transformation and to change angle incidence near SPR shown by rigorous electromagnetic simulation experimentally. focusing reflected demonstrated.

Near-field observation of spatial phase shifts associated with Goos-Hänschen and Surface Plasmon Resonance effects.
We report the near-field observation of the phase shifts associated with total internal reflection on a glass-air interface and surface plasmon resonance on a glass-gold-air system. The phase of the evanescent waves on glass and gold surfaces, as a function of incident angle, is measured using a phase-sensitive Photon Scanning Tunneling Microscope (PSTM) and shows a good agreement with theory.
متن کاملObservation of giant Goos-Hänchen and angular shifts at designed metasurfaces
Metasurfaces with sub-wavelength features are useful in modulating the phase, amplitude or polarization of electromagnetic fields. While several applications are reported for light manipulation and control, the sharp phase changes would be useful in enhancing the beam shifts at reflection from a metasurface. In designed periodic patterns on metal film, at surface plasmon resonance, we demonstra...

متن کاملSurface-enhanced localized surface plasmon resonance biosensing of avian influenza DNA hybridization using subwavelength metallic nanoarrays.
We demonstrated enhanced localized surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensing based on subwavelength gold nanoarrays built on a thin gold film. Arrays of nanogratings (1D) and nanoholes (2D) with a period of 200 nm were fabricated by electron-beam lithography and used for the detection of avian influenza DNA hybridization. Experimental results showed that both nanoarrays provided significant se...
متن کاملImaging of Surfaces by Concurrent Surface Plasmon Resonance and Surface Plasmon Resonance-Enhanced Fluorescence
Surface plasmon resonance imaging and surface plasmon induced fluorescent are sensitive tools for surface analysis. However, existing instruments in this area have provided limited capability for concurrent detection, and may be large and expensive. We demonstrate a highly cost-effective system capable of concurrent surface plasmon resonance microscopy (SPRM) and surface plasmon resonance-enhan...
